ATS NETWORK

The ATS Network is a European project within the IST framework of the European Commission.  It is operated as a consortium of contractual partners who are experienced developers and users of test suites for telecoms networks.  They are the three committee members of the ACATS FORUM, fulfilling the roles of:

Network Coordinator

SOLINET is the network coordinator of the ACATS FORUM and is responsible for monitoring the overall performance of the forum, including dissemination of information, management of resources and promotion of general and specific activities. 

SOLINET has over a decade of experience in ISDN, V5, IN, GSM, ATM, DECT and related telecommunication technologies.  It also works with standards committees that are prominent in the European telecommunications industry.

Exploitation Coordinator

Alcatel - Lucent is the exploitation coordinator of the ACATS FORUM.  It is the copyright holder of many of the test suites, and is responsible for maximising the benefits resulting from the ACATS FORUM's relevant activities.

This is done through building on its existing sales and marketing channels, as well as through identifying new opportunities through close market monitoring.  Alcatel - Lucent is one of the most influential telecoms researchers and manufacturers in Germany.

Technical Coordinator

TELETEL is the technical coordinator of the ACATS FORUM, and is responsible for providing technical direction to the forum.  It ensures the timely validation of test suites, as well as the technical integration of feedback, according to ISO 9000-3.  TELETEL is a leading hard- and software development company, specialising in telecoms applications.
