ATS-CONF conferences, organised by the ACATS Forum, provide researchers and developers with a focused and highly-interactive opportunity to present and discuss current work and future directions in conformance testing and interoperability.
Advances in test tools and methodologies, as well as the rapid evolution of telecommunications and information technologies, are redefining the scene in these areas, and ATS-CONF conferences were launched to help foster understanding of the related systems, methods and concepts that are emerging.
The first conference, ATS-CONF 2002 was held in March 2002 in Athens, Greece, and attracted telecom professionals from all over Europe, constituting a balance of opinion from industry, academia and standardisation bodies.
The second event, ATS-CONF 2003 was held in January 2003 in Stuttgart, Germany.
